Established on 4th July 2003 the Trust is a company limited by guarantee company number 233786 and a charity number SC 033379. Our aims are: to do what we can to help the Tarbert and Skipness area secure a healthy and sustainable future; to contribute to community development and to conserve and enhance the special qualities of the local environment.
Achieving these aims will not only benefit those of us lucky enough to live here but also our many welcome visitors.
Membership is open to all residents of voting age. The more members we have the greater the influence we have over grant giving organisations and we urge all who are interested in the wellbeing of our whole community to join the Trust. We issue regular newsletters sent to members and we will make these available to download on the news page of this website. You can also find us on Facebook.

We established a small grants program in 2017 using funds from our wind turbine investment and community benefits from other developers.

Volunteer directors are elected from the membership at our AGM and hold monthly meetings to progress the business of the Trust.
Our accounting year finishes at the end of February and our accounts are generally available in time for our AGM in the autumn.
